Local departure by coach or Home Connect service, then on to Cairnryan where we board the ferry to Belfast, and on to our hotel for four nights.
Exploring Belfast on foot is easy from our hotel in the very heart of the city. Discover at your own pace this compact and welcoming city which has much to see, such as the fantastic Ulster Museum, magnificent City Hall and the impressive Queen's University.
We also include a visit to the spectacular Titanic Belfast to learn more about the ill-fated ship. Located in the very place where Titanic was designed, built and launched, this is award-winning attraction takes you on the journey from the ship's conception and construction to her maiden voyage and subsequent place in history.
Today we journey north along County Antrim’s coastal road and take in the stunning scenery. Designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, this area contains some of the most beautiful and varied scenery to be found in Northern Ireland.
We visit the Giant’s Causeway, one of Ireland’s top tourist attractions, a spectacular sight of thousands of symmetrical columns rising dramatically from the sea. Whether you prefer the science or the legend of this UNESCO World Heritage Site, this stunning attraction is a geological marvel with more than a story or two to tell!
Enjoy a day at leisure to continue exploring Belfast. Perhaps take a Black Cab Tour with a knowledgeable guide who will take you around the key sights from the comfort of the cab, or why not hit the shops - call in at Victoria Square and make your way to the viewing dome at the top for panoramic views of the city and the countryside beyond.
Alternatively, join our optional excursion to The St. Patrick Centre, dedicated to Ireland's patron saint and his life and legacy. This is the only permanent exhibition in the world telling the history of Ireland as you walk through the amazing multimedia exhibition. His grave is marked by a boulder in the nearby churchyard of Down Cathedral.

The Titanic museum was very interesting and well presented. The giants causeway was great to see although would have liked to have spent a little longer there. Excellent coach driver

Loved our trip to Belfast with Shearings. Very good centrally located hotel with comfy rooms and delicious meals provided as part of the package. Daytime excursions very enjoyable. Our coach driver Gavin added a little extra sparkle..organised, approachable, helpful and a great sense of humour.

What a fabulous tour. We enjoyed every minute. Childhood memories restored and a long needed break in our favourite place achieved. The trips were first class and the drivers very knowledgeable. Excellent driver, very professional. Ensured the well being of passengers at all times. Particularly caring when passenger was ill and admitted to hospital. Couldn't fault hotel, attractions, or the journey. Only glitch was confusion on outbound crossing when evening meal voucher were not there. Driver Gavin took a decision to ask to buy our own, keep receipts and we would be reimbursed. That was not a problem but the head office made him feel uncomfortable about doing that and therefore us passengers felt very uncomfortable on his behalf. On the whole, a good trip.
